The Dendera Zodiac
Mars
(Click and hold)
The advanced dynamic illustration of the Mars God on the Dendera zodiac functions technically in the same way as was shown on the first Mars page but with two alignment
lines emanating from the God carving, one from the staff in front of the God and one from the staff behind.
In the central circle of the sculpture there are two path lines that emanate from the Mars God. The line shown in light blue is the path that was described on the first Mars analysis page and the line in white is new and follows the line of the God's staff until it reaches the principal God's alignment line where it drops down to the Mars alignment point on the inner circle's perimeter. The line also extends in the other direction and places a third model of Mars inside the small carved circle at the top of the illustration. The alignment is clearly intentional and also dovetails with the previous system that was explained on the first Mars page.
The angle of the alignment can be accurately measured because of the way that the system is designed with the third Mars model having to fit perfectly inside the precisely carved 17.00 mm radius circle, and that angle is 72.47 degrees. Without further additional comment at this stage, if you open up the technical data tab on the right panel you will see that the Julian date of the 2729 BCE winter solstice is 724669.228773148 and numerically matches the alignment angle of the God's staff with the decimal point transposed.
If you look at the original blue alignment line that comes from the bottom of the God's back leg item you can see that it goes into the zodiac sign of Capricorn, the only one of the zodiac divisions that has not yet been identified, which can be shown in detail by clicking on the button below.

The God on the right side of Capricorn is Thoth, the God of wisdom, science, writing, magic, art and judgement, easily distinguishable by the long bird's beak.
He is holding the boundary of the Capricorn zodiac segment, the first point oin Capricorn, in his left hand.
At the top of the Capricorn segment is a star, a duck and three hieroglyphs all of which are composed of horizontal style symbols. The main feature of the segment is the elliptical style carving in which there are two rows of four characters, noting that the final right side bottom character has their knee raised and all of the other seven do not. In the top left of the Capricorn segment are three rows of four stars, the last three of which in the bottom row are clearly slightly smaller than the others. There is the majority of a duck character on the bottom left of the segment which notably has no foot on the right leg, and the whole of section is held aloft in the heavens by the hands of the Gods below.
Here is the same image with the symbology overlaid.

At the top, the Roman letters 'DE' can be made out on the hieroglyph characters. The stars in the top left corner show the number 441, the kneeling characters in the
central ellipse show the same number, and the fingers of the Gods holding the zodiac segment aloft also show 441 because one of the the thumbs is 'missing'. It is not a matter
of interpretation, the Capricorn zodiac segment clearly shows 'DE441' which is the NASA ephemeris code that the technical data for the rotations has been taken from and which
can be seen on the technical data tab on the right side panel. The number has been repeated three times so that there can be no ambiguity in the identification.
What comes next is equally remarkable and is best shown by first removing all of the sections of the Capricorn segment that have just been solved which can be accomplished by clicking on the following button.

All that remains is the large ellipse, the one footed duck, the second staff of the God Thoth shown in yellow and one small star at the top.
These remaining sections can be solved by overlaying the NASA logo onto the Capricorn segment of the zodiac.
Explanation
Technical data
The curved red part of the logo matches the curved back of the duck, exactly. The right side of the logo describes the staff of the God Thoth, and the circular part of the NASA logo fits the top of the carved ellipse with the blue circle having a diameter of exactly 24 cm.
This now just leaves the small upper star, coloured in yellow on the image, as the only outstanding unsolved part of the Capricorn carving which is there to show that the stars, which define the zodiac division locations, now need to be looked at. Click on the button below to hide the close up image of the Capricorn segment and display the main illustration with the NASA logo added and the zodiac sign carvings of the inner circle highlighted.
The first thing to notice is that the carved inner circle Capricorn animal is formed using the two red curved lines from the NASA logo, these being shown on the illustration.
The first of the astronomy angles that aligns Mars' orbit with the longitude of the ascending node of the planet now needs to be applied to the system, as was the case with all the previous planet configurations but this time before the outer zodiac ring's rotation has been applied.

Rather than just applying the whole 342.29 degree clockwise rotation to the zodiac ring in one go, it can be split
down into its component parts using the Julian date of the 2729 BCE winter solstice which is shown on the buttons below. When each button is clicked it applies a
rotation, in degrees, to the zodiac ring that is 10 times the numerical value of the button.
JD
With all of the buttons pressed the first point in Sagittarius can be seen to nearly align with the marker rectangular structure on the outer frame, which can be highlighted
by clicking on the next button.
The alignment arrow runs from the lower box corner to the box top center, directly through the hands of the Gods that are holding up the night sky aligning with their
fingertips and then points directly back to the start of the puzzle in the center of the principal God's staff.
This alignment system is sufficiently accurate to be able to correct the Julian date of the 2729 BCE winter solstice to JD 724669.15 +/- 0.01 which can be shown by resetting the zodiac ring rotation
and applying the calibrated angle.
This final calibration has been performed using the graphics images of this website which are bound to contain
errors including camera lens distortions. If the same calibration is carried out on a laser scan of the actual Dendera Zodiac to sub millimeter accuracy the winter solstice of 2729 BCE
will be able to be dated to within 5 minutes using the Julian date units. However, there is a problem with laser scanning the sculpture. The Dendera Zodiac is carved into two piece of stone
and has been dismantled and reconstructed in the Louvre museum, so the two stone sections will be slightly out of position relative to each other compared to how they were set in the temple's roof.
There is a mechanism for ensuring that the two stones are positioned correctly. The geometric lines for this mechanism can be added by clicking the next button.

All the lines are tangent lines to circles and run from the top of the Mars circle in the winter solstice on the left to the tangent point on the NASA logo.
Perpendicular to this line it branches up to the Mars model circle at the top of the sculpture connecting as a tangent
to the zodiac circle on the way. The line of the rotated split between the stones connects from the zodiac circle in exactly the same manner.
The second parallel line runs from the center of the Earth circle to the one remaining star in Capricorn.
